Head cold OMG

Well, I woke on Sunday in the middle of the night with a sore throat, after thinking the other day wasn't it nice I had made it through the winter without a cold / flu. So now I've got a spring cold. Luckily I've learnt the hard way to keep throat lozenges in my bedside drawer and I was able to get some sleep for the rest of the night.
Of course Monday was a busy day at work so off I went, dosed nearly to the eyeballs (I need to keep some brain cells free for work). Today the sore throat has gone and I'm at the 'nose' stage, eep. I've forgotten how tiring a head cold is, and I'm hoping to avoid a cough. I think spring is just as dangerous as winter in it's own way when it comes to colds - it can be either sunshine or storms, often in the same day which can catch you unawares.
Next week I've got a haircut appt - I usually like a chin-length bob, and when it starts getting down to the shoulders it tries to get a mind of its own and laughs at heated rollers.
I managed to watch the Brit movie 'Paddington' (based on the Paddington Bear character) recently and it was quite entertaining. Nicole Kidman was an evil taxidermist and Peter Capaldi was almost cute as the nosy-neighbour-with-no-life. Naturally there was a Doctor Who reference.
We recently had Daylight Savings, which left me feeling jetlagged for a few days this time (mutters). It's nice having the longer evenings again though.

Bad luck with the cold. I hope you get rid of it soon.
