In your own space, talk about a fannish opinion you hold that has changed over time.

When I started writing fanfic years ago, telling people I wrote it rarely ended well. Now it has become more normalised, and those I have told IRL don't blink an eyebrow. Which is nice progress.

I agree! It's a very nice shift.

It is great that being in fandom (no matter if you are writing, creating art or doing cosplays) is much more accepted today than it was 20 years ago.
