Some cautious hope

Well, it was a bit chillier today with it definitely feeling like autumn.
New Zealand is starting to cautiously ease some of the lockdown restrictions with new daily cases of the virus down in the single figures now. We have around 1487 cases and 21 deaths. Some businesses can open now such as takeaways as long as there's no direct contact between staff and customer and there's contactless payment. In another week-ish there will be another review of the lockdown situation by the government.
Am still staying indoors as long as possible.
Guess who's self-isolating here in New Zealand too - Neil Gaiman and his family! *blinks*

Continuing to speak of Neil Gaiman, here is a little something that was recorded to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Good Omens:

Warning: Mention of cake. :D

Austria is nearly back to normal by now.
Schools are opening up step ba step. This week the graduation classes, to give them time to prepare for their graduation exams.
And next week the rest, but in shifts, so the classrooms won't be as packed as usual.
On May 15th restaurants are scheduled to open, but with strict regulations regarding distance and masks for the staff.
Tomorrow will be my last day in the home office.

I'm glad that Austria is getting back to normal.
