Whether it is to fix-it, honor it, or expand upon it, canon is why we are all here. So, let's celebrate canon today and talk about our favorites. Nostalgic, new, problematic, or forever canons are all welcome to be loved, dissected, and discussed. Have a favorite scene? A much-loved character? A much-maligned character? Just love the whole thing epically? Talk about it all or as little as you want!


Well, my favourite show right now is Lucifer, about a no-nonsense LA Detective, Chloe Decker, and the Devil who fight crime together (he punishes evil, he's not evil himself). It's based on a comic by Neil Gaiman. Anyways, she thinks her work partner is just a silly, British nightclub owner calling himself Lucifer. There are lots of funny scenes in the series and one of my favourites is when they're dealing with a ruthless Korean drug lord. Lucifer wants to charge into the drug den and be heroic, while Chloe says "you can't just walk in there with your three-piece suit and say, 'Hello, drug dealers!' ".

Lucifer looks innocent / adorkable and says 'I would never do that!'. In the next scene he's walking into the drug den. K-pop is playing. In Korean, Lucifer says, 'Hello, drug dealers!'.

I must have laughed out loud for about five minutes. :D
