This and That

Well, it was very hot today, in the late 20's. Which I'm comfortable with, actually (except at night). I got caught in the rain today - it was a very sudden downpour. I did have my umbrella with me (always a good idea in Auckland), but by the time I got it out, I was half drenched. Also, I happened to be under a sizable tree at the time!

I recently joined a new Meetup group about tabletop boardgaming - they meet in a boardgaming cafe in town and I went last week for the first time. I had a nice time and the people I played with were pleasant. Lots of nice games; I want to play the Labyrinth game one day (purrs). I used to belong to a similar group but it folded. At least with this group there is a dedicated place to meet at.
